Background Info:
A native of San Antonio, Dr. Hamon’s interest in vein health was kindled during his residency when new and unique treatments for vein disorders were being studied under the leadership of his professor, Dr. John Bergan.

Active in the U.S. Army Reserves, Dr. Hamon has performed four service rotations, including three in Iraq, in Operations Noble Eagle, Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn.

He has published several original works and has been recognized as an outstanding presenter at the American College of Phlebology Clinical Congress.

Feeling the draw to return to San Antonio, Dr. Hamon established his practice here to treat vein conditions with some of the latest treatment techniques.

In addition to his practice at Vein Institute of San Antonio, Dr. Hamon provides general surgery services and colorectal medical care.
